THE AUGHT'S debut album, You Could’ve Just Called Me, centers around the post-pandemic collegiate experience, in addition to coming to terms with mental illness, toxic relationships, and existentialism, all while being a part a generation of developing “adults,” expected to handle an unrealistic amount of technological and social stress.
At the same time, this album serves as a time capsule for angst, immaturity and ambitious self-expression in a formative period of life.
